Fireflies fundraiser
Sun 22 March
‘For those who suffer we ride’ - to raise vital funds for The Blood Fund.
On Sunday 22nd March at Surrey Sports Park, Amy Coomber is taking on an extraordinary challenge for the Fireflies Fundraiser, eight back-to-back spin classes inspired by last year’s journey from Geneva to Nice. She’s calling on others to ride alongside her and turn determination into hope.
With classes starting from 9am and running for 45 minutes with 15-minute refuel breaks, riders can choose their own challenge: one class, a few back-to-back, or all eight for the ultimate test.
Every mile, every drop of sweat, and every rider brings us closer to the £2.5k fundraising goal. This is more than a workout, it’s a chance to stand together, push limits, and make a real difference.

Our Positive Impact
The Blood Fund supports the world-renowned haematology department at Hammersmith Hospital, which provides exceptional care and cutting-edge research for patients with blood disorders including leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, sickle cell disease and haemophilia.
Funds raised help the team go further by supporting vital clinical research, enabling more patients to access innovative treatments through clinical trials; enhancing patient care, including specialist nursing support and improved hospital environments; and investing in the next generation of doctors and scientists, giving them time and resources to develop life-changing research.
Every donation helps ensure patients receive the very best care today, while driving breakthroughs for the future.
